Spreading Kindess 52 times a year...

Me

I've always been a believer in spreading Random Acts of Kindness.  My two best friends and I would take the occasional trip to Niagara Falls, and started a tradition amongst us three friends.  We'd always pay the tolls for the 3-4 cars behind us.  It gave us great joy to do something so small for someone else.  Every so often a car would speed up to wave and honk and that always made us smile.  And we'd always hope that small act would inspire them to pass on kindness to someone else.

One day while at dinner with one of my friends she made a silly comment to another diner we all smiled and went back to eating our dinner, and when he left he dropped 20 dollars on our table to pay our bill.  I was blown away.  We then decided paying tolls once a year wasn't enough for us, so we started a card campaign.  We filled out dozens of cards with inspirational words for total strangers, just left for them to find.

I've decided that 2012 will be something of a rebirth for me.  To start with my Random Acts of Kindness won't be occasional.  I vow to spend 2012 performing at least ONE Random Act of Kindness, Every Week.  And taking a picture of something I love, something that makes me smile.  Which you can follow at
